Lounge Bar

The Lounge is situated in the old music room of the country house. A beautiful room of wood panelling, open fires and views across the Loch and is open to non residents and residents alike. In addition to serving wine, local gins, whiskies it serves a selection of real ales and local beers.

We keep a comprehensive selection of malt whiskies from around Scotland including our two local distilleries, Auchentoshan and Glengoyne. Our beers are supplied by local breweries – Kelburn Brewery and WEST in Glasgow’s West End. Finally, as you would expect we stock a wide range of quality spirits and liqueurs, including a wide range of Scottish gin. Our Wine list is supplied by Corney and Barrow and De Burgh Wines.

Scottish Gin

In recent years, gin, and craft gin in particular, has had a notable resurgence with dozens of distillers popping up throughout the length and breadth of Scotland. There is now a superb range of Scottish gins of various styles, infused with some wonderful natural botanicals, and we are proud to stock a large range of those.

In addition, we stock a variety of vodkas, brandies, and liqueurs including the Scottish liqueur Drambuie, a sweet, golden coloured liqueur made from scotch whisky, honey, herbs and spices.
