There is nothing more important to us than family. Murdo and I have spent the last 20 years building this family business and welcoming guests from every corner of the globe to Knockderry House, in our beautiful corner of Argyll and Bute. However, we are temporarily closing the doors of our hotel in order to protect you, our guests but also our staff as each of them has their own family to care for.
The onset of the coronavirus pandemic has affected everyone and may go on for some time to come. Following the HM Government’s most recent instructions to us all but specifically to hospitality businesses, we are contacting all our guests to discuss transferring their reservation to a date, later in the year when restrictions regarding travel and social distancing will hopefully be lifted.
We are in contact with all the guests staying over the next 12 weeks to offer them a chance to move the booking or accept a Credit Voucher for an equivalent stay up to a year from their original reservation date. If you have not yet heard from us, rest assured we will be in touch in the days to come to discuss their options.
In the meantime, and even though we are temporarily closing the doors, we are making the most of every minute. We have exciting plans in the works for a new website, as well as offers and events once we have come through the difficult times ahead. To keep in the loop, subscribe to our newsletter and follow us on Facebook/Instagram.
Thank you SO much for being such an important part of our family. Please stay safe and take great care of yourselves and your loved ones. We are in this together and we will get through this together.
With thanks and our love,
Beth, Murdo, and all the team at Knockderry House
