Helensburgh Market in the Square
Helensburgh Farmers’ Market is on every two weeks in the middle of town and is an opportunity to sample some excellent local produce. Visit their Facebook page for dates and details.
Farmers’ Markets at Loch Lomond Shores
The fantastic monthly Loch Lomond Farmers’ Markets returns on the 1st and 3rd Sunday of every month, with any and every kind of fresh and local produce available on the stalls. The produce is dependent on seasonal availability, but you will find fresh cheese, home-baked breads and cakes, seasonal vegetables, chutneys and oils, freshly baked pies, fresh meats and fabulous smoked fish. The market runs from 10am-4pm, but it’s best to arrive early to avoid missing out on stock.
Springfest – Loch Lomond Food and Drink Festival
This Food & Drink Festival, on the shores of Loch Lomond takes place on 1st and 2nd April. This is a jam-packed weekend: there’ll be copious amounts of food, wild food and drink walks, cookery demonstrations running all through both days, and even some cooking activities for the children to join in on.
