As the Scottish summer fades from memory, we are remembering all the reasons we love Scotland in the autumn.
All around us we see signs of people looking for warmth, be it in the form of a pumpkin spiced latte or a pair of tartan gloves. As the leaves start to fall and the days shorten, we thought we’d share with you why we love the autumn.
Walks in the crisp, autumnal air
We are fortunate to have gorgeous walking trails right on our doorstep. So wrap up warm and venture out into the Scottish countryside. With views across both Loch Long and Loch Gare, a walk in the Peaton Nature Reserve is one of our favourites. Sometimes you just don’t want to venture into the cold – so why not relax by the fire? If hot chocolate isn’t your thing, we find a large glass of red or a wee dram of malt whisky to be a fitting alternative!
