Wedding Terms & Conditions

Provisional Bookings

A provisional booking will be held on behalf of a client for a period of 7 days without obligation. Thereafter, a date is not secure until a non-refundable deposit of £750.00 has been paid and a letter or e-mail confirming the deposit has been received.

Should the function date be less than 3 months hence then no provisional bookings will be accepted.

Payment of the deposit and the acceptance or your reservation will constitute a formal contract and acceptance of our terms and conditions.

Cancellation Policy

In the event that the wedding is cancelled and the wedding has been confirmed the deposit will be retained and a fee applied.

If the wedding is cancelled less than 8 weeks before the date there will be a cancellation charge of 40% of the agreed costs of the function.

If cancellation occurs less than 6 weeks before the date there will be a cancellation charge of 50%. If the function is cancelled within 21 days of the function the agreed costs of the function will be forfeit. Customers are advised to insure against such eventualities.

Reserving Accommodation

We appreciate you will want to reserve rooms for principal guests in the hotel. We will hold rooms for stays of two nights for guests at the wedding until 8 weeks to go. At this point rooms will be released unless exclusive use has been requested in which case you will become liable for any unused or part used rooms. We will of course contact you at this stage to discuss release or confirmation.

Accounts

Three months prior to the function, 40% of the agreed costs are payable.

Six weeks before the function, the balance will fall due. An invoice for the balance will be issued 8 weeks before the function and will be payable by return. It is understood that these terms and conditions are accepted fully by the clients when confirming the booking. Payments by credit card will attract a handling surcharge.

Pre payments for non arrivals are non-returnable and cannot be transferred to cover food, drinks or entertainment for other members of the party.

Additional Terms and Conditions

• No advertising material or decorations may be fixed to walls, ceilings floors etc within the house. However signs, banners or flags may be erected outside with prior permission.
• The client is liable for the costs of making good any damage to the fabric of the House caused by their negligence or by the negligence of their guests or suppliers. The use of confetti is prohibited both inside and outside the building.
• Exclusive Use is also required for parties where young children feature significantly or for parties that intend to have music and dancing which would impact other guests were they to be staying with us.
