The following is a list of useful information designed to answer any questions you might have in advance and to make your stay with us as comfortable as possible. Do let us know if there is anything else you wish to know or require.

Room Service

There are tea and coffee making facilities in your room. Irons, ironing boards are available in the Butlers Pantry. Hairdryers are to be found in your rooms. In addition the Butlers Pantry holds a range of snacks and alcoholic beverages should the bar be closed. We are able to offer a range of light snacks in your room from 11.00 am until 3.00 pm and from 5.30 until 9.30 pm. – please see the menu in your folder on under ‘Dining’ on the website.

The Butlers Pantry

We have established the Butlers Pantry to ensure that you have quick and easy access to a variety of little things that you might need whilst staying with us. There you will find ironing boards, irons, shoe cleaning kit, housewife/needle and thread as well as useful items like stationary, a clothes brush and a mini bar. In addition to drinks and snacks for purchase there is also fresh milk for your tea and coffee.

Laundry

We are happy to offer a laundry service to residents. Laundry may take up to 3 days to return and the bill will be added to your account.

Videos, Books and Games

We have a reasonably large collection of videos, CD’s and DVD’s these are to be found in The Butlers Pantry. There are a variety of Books and Games available in the hotel.

Check In

Residents may check in from 2.00 pm earlier, by prior arrangement.

Check Out

We would ask residents to check out of their rooms by 11.00 am on the date of their departure to allow us time to complete service for new occupants unless by prior arrangement.

Late Entry to the Hotel

The hotel normally closes the front door at 11.00 pm (a little later at weekends). Should you wish to go out for the evening and anticipate a late return we can make arrangements to give you the entry code for the hotel.

Communications

We have a variety of communications available to you during your stay – if you have any particular requests please do not hesitate to ask a member of staff.

Should you wish to use the phone in your room please dial 9 for an outside line and then dial the number you require. Our charges are quite reasonable and are as follows:

15p per minute for all local and national calls
20p per minute for 0870 numbers
35p per minute for all mobile calls
40p per minute for all European and US calls

All calls are rounded up to nearest minute. Premium rate numbers are not available In addition there is a public call box in the reception.Should you wish to use our fax we charge 40p per page to receive and 30p per page to send.

All rooms are wifi enabled – however should you wish to use our own computer to access the internet we request that you give us a little warning as the computer is also used for business purposes. We do not charge for wifi connectivity.

Meal Timings

Should you wish to dine please let us know so that we can reserve you a table on busy evenings.

Breakfast Monday to Friday is served in the Dining Room from 7-9.00 am & from 8.30 –10.00 am at weekends and Bank Holidays. Should you require breakfast earlier we can offer a limited continental breakfast in the dining room up from 6.30 am Mon – Fri and from 7.30 a.m. at weekends. A service charge of £5.00 is normally payable for breakfasts served earlier than advertised.

A Continental Breakfast, consisting of yoghurt, toast, preserves, fruit juice and tea or coffee is available in your room, for a service charge of £5.00 per person. If you would like breakfast in your room please place your order before 8.00 p.m. stating if you would like tea or coffee and when you would like it served.

Lunch is served from 12.30 ‘til 2.30 p.m. Mon to Fri and until 3.00 pm on Saturday and Sunday. Evening Dining is from 6.00 p.m. ‘til 9.00 p.m. from Monday until Saturday and until 8.30 p.m. on Sunday.
