We hope these few notes answer any questions you may have about the hotel, its services and the local area. If you have any further questions please do not hesitate to ask any member of staff.

Room Service
Tea and coffee is served in the Old Billiard Room weekends between 3pm and 5pm with home baking. Tea and coffee are also available to enjoy in the room. Irons and ironing boards are available in the Butler’s Pantry on the first landing and hairdryers are to be found in your rooms.
In Room Dining
We are able to offer a range of light snacks in your room from 11.00 am until 3.00 pm and from 5.30 until 9.30 pm. – please see the menu in your folder or read the Room Service Menu.
In addition, we are happy to serve your breakfast or dinner in your room for a service charge of £5.00 per person. If you would like to dine in your room, please place your order with our staff either the evening before for breakfast or before 6.00 pm for dinner to allow arrangements to be made.
Butler’s Pantry
To ensure that you have quick and easy access to a variety of little things that you might need whilst staying with us we have established the Butler’s Pantry on the first landing of the old house for your convenience.
There you will find ironing boards, irons, shoe cleaning kit, housewife/needle and thread as well as useful items like stationary and a clothes brush. If you have any suggestions for the Pantry let us know and we will try and include them for your next stay.
Laundry
We are happy to offer a limited laundry service to residents. We do not have a large laundry on site so if you have a significant number of items we can arrange for your laundry to be collected and returned to the hotel. Laundry may take up to 3 days to return and the bill will be added to your account. Should you have only a few items we can launder these in house, normally within 24 hrs – please ask at reception for details and costs.

DVDs, Books and Games
We have a reasonably large collection of CDs, DVDs which are to be found in The Old Billiard Room. In addition there are a variety of books and games available in the hotel. Please return these after use.

Residents may check in from 3.00 pm; earlier, by prior arrangement.

Check Out
We ask residents to check out of their rooms by 11.00 am on the date of their departure to allow us time to complete service for new occupants.

Late Arrival (Late Entry to the Hotel)
Should you wish to check in after 10.00 pm we request that you give us some prior warning, so we can anticipate your arrival.
The hotel normally closes the front door at 11.00 pm (a little later at weekends).
Should you wish to go out for the evening and anticipate a late return, we can make arrangements for you to gain access to the hotel.
Communications
Telephone
Should you wish to use the phone in your room please dial ‘9’ for an outside line and then dial the number you require. Room to room calls have not been facilitated to ensure guest privacy however if you dial ‘0’ for reception and ask a member of the staff they will direct your call.
Calls to all local and national landline numbers are free for the first 10 minutes thereafter we charge as follows:
Call Charges per Minute
15p per minute for all local and national calls to landline numbers
20p per minute for 0870 numbers
35p per minute for all mobile calls
40p per minute for all European and US calls
All calls are rounded up to nearest minute. Premium rate numbers are not available.
Mobile Phones
Reception is limited for some providers the most reliable service provider is Vodafone.
Fax
Should you wish to use our fax, we charge 50p per page to send and receive.
Wifi
Most rooms are wi-fi enabled but some have only broadband connections – guests can have access for a small charge of £3.00 for one day or £5.00 for a week.
Should you require to wish to use the broadband connection in your room or have an iPad please ask the Reception for the connection cables and advice on getting online.

Breakfast
Monday to Friday: 7.00 – 9.00 am Weekends: 8.30 – 9.45 am
Lunch
12.30 ‘til 2.30 p.m. Mon to Fri and until 3.00 pm on Saturday and Sunday.
Evening Dining
6.00 p.m. ‘til 9.00 p.m. from Monday until Saturday and until 8.30 p.m. on Sunday.

Pets
We are happy to offer accommodation for well behaved dogs with their owners for a small charge of £15.00 per dog per stay.
We request that dogs are not left unattended in their rooms at any time or are allowed to sit on the furnishings including the bed and the sofa.
