Getting Here

With a route regularly voted as one of the best driving roads in the country, getting to Knockderry House is a pleasurable journey of discovery. Wide, long, smooth and curving, the road carries you from Loch Lomond to Loch Long, soaring above Glen Fruin below and with mountains rising a further two thousand feet above your head.

On arrival you will find a wonderful old Leiper inspired building with turrets and towers, snuggled in against the cliff, facing out over the sea loch of Loch Long and the hills of Argyll.

This old family house, tucked away from the usual tourist trail, has been transformed into a welcoming Scottish country house hotel. The bedrooms individually decorated with little touches of luxury combined with the award winning restaurant are designed to create a destination free of stress.
