Our wine list has been personally selected by the owner Beth MacLeod in conjunction with Inverarity Vaults an award-winning supplier of fine wines and the largest independent merchant in Scotland.

The company’s extensive wine list comprises over 700 handpicked wines from family-run estates across the world, and have been supplying Knockderry Country House a range of interesting and varied wines for a many years. To see what we have currently on offer have a look at our Wine List.

If you are considering booking a large party and would like to choose your wine in advance, then the attached wine list will give you the ideal opportunity to make sure we have enough to cover your requirements.

Whisky

Enjoy fine Malts in the Lounge Bar

Scotland is traditionally divided into five regions: Highlands, Lowland, Speyside, Campbeltown and Islay. Knockderry Country House Hotel straddles the Highlands and Lowlands and is only a short journey to the West Coast home of Islay Malts which makes us a fantastic start point to any Malt Whisky trail.

Our Snug Whisky Bar boasts a fair few malts and as members of the Ambassador Society in Scotland a trade only group dedicated to people working with Scotch Whisky in the hospitality trade, we can offer advice on training, visits and tours.

Beers

If you are following the Real Ale Trail in Scotland then a stay at Knockderry House is a must. We offer 3 real ales from around Scotland and always have a selection from some of our famous local suppliers such as Loch Fyne Ales and Houston Breweries.
