Private Events

Knockderry House was originally a summer retreat for a wealthy Scottish family and as such was designed for events and special occasions such as weddings, dinner parties, anniversaries, christenings, and birthday parties.

We specialise in ensuring your private dinner or corporate event is both delicious and stress free. Our menus are seasonal and based on Scottish and locally sourced ingredients and focus on the wonderful Scottish larder: modern Scottish cooking and a love of good food.

All menus include fresh homemade bread, freshly brewed tea and coffee and handmade chocolates. We can individually tailor menus to your taste, your budget, the event or style of food. A look at our sample menus will give you an indication of the range and style of what we offer.

Johnny Aitken, Head Chef at Knockderry House, has a wealth of experience in the hospitality industry, from small privately owned restaurants to large corporate hotels, and works closely with owner Beth MacLeod to create some of the finest dining in Scotland.
