Linn Gardens is only a mile from Knockderry House and is known as one of the Glorious Gardens of Argyll and Bute. It includes a private collection of exotic plants from around the world, many of which are endangered or seldom seen in cultivation.
The present gardens date from 1971. Features include a burn with waterfalls, formal and informal ponds, an open heath for New Zealand plants and a collection of insect catching plants. It is open from dawn to dusk. Do wear waterproof footwear as it can be damp underfoot.
